We were formed in 1987 and are a non-profit organization. We have open socials on several Thursdays of each month. Non-members are welcome at these gatherings where we socialize and announce upcoming events that all are welcome to join in on. You do not have to own a boat or know anything about sailing or boating to become a member, all are welcome. If you wish, we can help you learn basic sailing. Our meeting locations and times are usually published in Newsday on Tuesday of the week of our meetings. You can check the JIB on this site to see all of our open meeting and activities. If you would like us to notify you via e-mail as to our meeting times and dates, fill out the contact form. We look forward to seeing you at one of our meetings.
